As the 2018 calendar year comes to a close, looking back at what you have accomplished can be a great way to prepare for what’s coming next. VirTra has had quite the busy year from new use of force products and partnerships to ringing the bell at NASDAQ in New York City. In case you missed it, here is what VirTra has been up to over the course of 2018:

25th Anniversary: Since 1993 VirTra created the law enforcement and military training technology that is now an industry standard and has set the trends that many have tried to duplicate. This ingenuity has allowed VirTra to celebrate our 25th anniversary by ringing the bell at NASDAQ on August 21st, 2018. The company’s primary focus is developing and delivering the world’s finest firearms and use of force training simulation systems. We are committed to providing better and more realistic training, so Officers will succeed when lives are at stake. VirTra clients across the world rely on our training simulation systems to increase the chances of successful missions and surviving lethal encounters.

New Partnerships: VirTra has partnered with eight nationally recognized partners in their respected industries on the new curriculum programs and new scenarios to include Force Science Institute, Vistelar, Haley Strategic, Trijicon, National Sheriffs’ Association, National Law Enforcement Center on Animal Abuse (NLECAA), Office of the Utah Attorney General, and Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC). We are proud to have these fantastic partners help develop the curriculum to adapt to what is needed by officers everywhere.

New Training Simulator Product: Our new training simulator product, V-VICTA™ stands for VirTra- Virtual Interactive Coursework Training Academy and is leading the way for training law enforcement departments to Teach, Train, Test and Sustain all in one solution. The newly developed coursework is certified by IADLEST which is recognized in all 50 states. The realistic quality and immersion of these new virtual training scenarios empower trainers for immediate advancements in their programs.

VirTra Team Updates: Last but not least, VirTra also recently announced the addition of the VTC VirTra Training Coordinators to our customers as their perfect resource for all things training and VirTra related. We also recently had our own in-house law enforcement expert, Lon Bartel, become an IADLEST certified instructor. Together these improvements to our team will help elevate your training by becoming a valuable resource for sustaining your training program.

This year has flown by quickly, and we couldn’t be prouder of our team and the newly released products. We also have some exciting news coming in 2019 in addition to the next volumes of V-VICTA, which will be available shortly after the new year. Stay tuned after the new year to learn more!
