TEMPE, AZ – April 11, 2011 – Bob Ferris, VirTra Systems’ CEO (VTSI.PK), today announced that VirTra has received a second large order from Gander Mountain. These additional Gander Mountain Academy locations will offer the most advanced and convenient firearms training ever made available to the public on a widespread basis.
A standard Gander Mountain Academy will include:
- Two VirTra 300 simulators with five screens and a host of skill drills and scenarios.
- Two VirTra 180 simulators with three screens and a host of skill drills and scenarios.
- Eight lanes of the VirTra Range simulator, an incredibly high-resolution and realistic simulated shooting range with a large variety of targets and courses of fire.
- Various recoil kits and accessories.
- The total dollar amount of this order exceeds $2 million.
Gander Mountain and VirTra worked jointly on a comprehensive provisional patent application covering all aspects of this groundbreaking project. Gander Mountain intends a wide-scale rollout over the next several years and will be announcing additional locations.
