TEMPE, AZ – April 28th, 2010 – Bob Ferris, CEO of VirTra Systems, Inc. (OTC:VTSI.PK), today announced the hiring of Mr. Don Andrus as president of VirTra Systems.

Mr. Andrus spent 24 years with May Department Stores, the last 6 years of that time as Chairman and Chief Operating Officer.  In that period the Foley’s division based in Houston, Texas grew to $1.6 billion in sales with net earnings of $121 million in 72 locations. Previous positions Don held at May were Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of May Ohio, based in Cleveland, Ohio, Senior Vice President at Famous Barr based in Saint Louis, Missouri, and Regional Vice President at Hechts based in Washington, D.C.  Don was also owner and president of Andrus Consulting Group for 5 years, where he and his firm specialized in Business Development Strategies for high growth companies.

In 2005, Mr. Andrus became Vice President of Operations for Laser Shot, where he successfully created and managed growth.  His employment with Laser Shot ended in 2008.

Don is a veteran, with military experience as a Military Policeman in the United States Air Force.

The new president will work out of VirTra’s Tempe, Arizona headquarters.
