Current V-VICTA Curriculum
V-VICTA curriculums have met the standards set forth by the IADLEST National Certification Program™ for POST Certification across 35 states. Each curriculum has been thoroughly reviewed by IADLEST assessment team and has passed the rigors of their independent review process.
Newly Released Volume One:
Human Factors in Force Encounters – The science behind human performance under stress based on Force Science Institute research with metrics and statistics that measure the student compared to the research during debriefing.
Contact and Cover Concepts – By demonstrating skills in the area of contact and cover your team can practice proper positioning to keep yourself as well as the other party safe as you address the concerns of the individual.
Injured Officer Handgun Manipulation – This dynamic and demanding course provides instruction and drills on winning a lethal confrontation after being injured.
Tourniquet Application Under Threat – This challenging course places the officer in simulated threat environments requiring them to deal with self-aide, buddy aide, and dealing with threats within the environment.
TASER Targeting – This course takes the current TASER targeting guidelines and using our unique system is calibrated to be compatible with TASER weapons which will allow you to train your team on less lethal options.
