The systems employ multiple screens, realistic video training content and an electric impulse return fire system to simulate the stress of real-world situations – ultimately to help prepare agents in judgmental use of force encounters. Jason Mulcahy, VirTra’s General Manager, said, “It is our goal at VirTra to exceed the expectations of the customer and expand our footprint throughout the world so as to bring the greatest training benefits to the largest number of professionals. The safety of the officers employed by our customers as well as those they encounter on a daily basis are critically important to VirTra and this sale helps in all respects.”
Bob Ferris, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of VirTra, commented, “We are honored to add the U.S. Secret Service to our growing list of Federal customers who’ve selected VirTra’s training simulators and accessories. One of our key strategic objectives is leveraging our extensive investment in realistic use of force and ballistically accurate marksmanship simulators for the benefit of additional agencies within the U.S. Government.
