Job Location: Tempe, Arizona

Position Summary:

Will support the IT Manager with day-to-day tasks for all VirTra locations, including performing regular systems and security monitoring, handling backup procedures and helping set up, maintain, and delete user accounts and workstations as required. Ensure that hardware and systems work as expected and maintain archives as needed. Will provide technical support related to company systems and will solve issues and troubleshoot when necessary. Identify potential problems to resolve and prevent future service interruptions.

Essential Functions:

• Provide technical support to users by setting up new users and responding to network and software questions or problems
• Provide help desk technical support and training to users on software and systems
• Responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues including servers, routers, switches, VOIP system, access points, desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones and printers
• Install hardware and software as needed
• Assist IT Manager with special projects
• Hours and schedule may vary; you must be flexible to work any day of the week, including Nights, Holidays and Weekends. Weekly hours may fluctuate, depending upon business demands, special projects or emergencies
• Assist IT Director with projects as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested to better the company or department

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Frequently the employee will be required to stand; walk; use hands or fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies up to 30 lbs. and to sit and work at a computer for upwards of 4 hours at a time.
