Job Location: Tempe, Arizona

The Installation Coordinator position is responsible for leading the team of VirTra Installers and managing the delivery and installation of VirTra equipment. Coordination of the areas may involve, but is not limited to, scheduling of installs, managing the acquisition and training of installation staff members, managing the in house work of the installation staff, and working with other coordinators and managers to schedule installers for service and sales support trips. This position will work with Accounting to forecast quarterly recognized revenue for public company reporting purposes. This position requires up to 25% travel including domestic and international.

Essential Functions:

• Coordination of the Installation staff to include work schedules and assignments; manage training and direction; ensure staffing allocations are appropriate per contract.
• Management of the Installation schedule. Will plan and facilitate the installation and/or maintenance of VirTra systems.
• Will analyze problems and recommend solutions to ensure the smooth flow of installations and staffing.
• Coordination with the Production Team for Purchase Orders. (i.e. Production schedule, Product Availability, Delivery Schedules.)
• Coordination of shipping and receiving support of installation deployments.
• Will plan and coordinate the training of VirTra’s technical staff.
• Audit and approve installer expense reports, verifying completeness and adherence to company policy. Ensuring Installation staff internal process deadlines are met.
• Ensuring travel guidelines are followed for Installation staff.
• Coordination of shipping and receiving support of installation deployments.
• Manage simulator training procedures for post-installation customer training.
• Manage customer approval/signoff upon completion of installation and training.
• Manage the planning, scheduling and booking of travel arrangements.
• Management of personally accrued company expenses.
• Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.
• Performs other duties as assigned and as needed to better the department or company.
• Manages and approves employee’s timecards for the department in a timely manner for payroll.
• Approves or denies time off request through ADP.
• Responsible for overseeing and leading the work of your division.
• Coach, mentor and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding.
• Foster a spirit of teamwork that allows for the appreciation of diversity as well as cohesiveness, supportiveness and working effectively together enabling each employee to succeed.
• Lead employees in such a way that you provide the framework to encourage employee contribution and include goal setting and feedback to drive performance.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Installation/technical skills including knowledge of assembling, testing, and troubleshooting computers (hardware and software), audio/video equipment, and structural equipment
• Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot Windows OS platforms (XP, Win7 & Win10)
• Exemplary communication skills including the ability to teach and train others how to operate complex training systems
• Passion for, experience with, and in-depth knowledge of firearms
• Knowledgeable and capable of teaching firearm safety
• Ability to follow instructions
• Capable of lifting up to 100lbs

Physical Demands:

This is a very physically demanding job which includes stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing for long periods of time, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, hearing and talking. May exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly in order to relocate or move objects. Visual acuity including color, depth perception and field of vision is required daily.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field beneficial to work performed or a combination of education and experience may be substituted for the degree; course work or experience in computer technology
• Experience in management or supervisory role
• Experience directly related to work performed
• Experience with CRM/Service Management Software
• Experience with PC Networking

Additional Requirements, if any:
• Work schedule normally: 7:30 to 4:30, Monday – Friday
• Active and valid State Driver’s License required at all times
• Up to 25% travel, including domestic and international
